The resort is geared for families with children. It provides transportation to all Disney's theme parks. Enjoy the hockey rink themed pool and the unique kiddie area. The resort is modern, and made up of five Disney film-inspired themed three-story buildings. The Mighty Ducks, Fantasia, 101 Dalmations, The Love Bug and Toy Story are all represented here with larger-than-life, whimsical icons like a hockey rink-themed pool and a giant Buzz Lightyear standing at the ready.
The rooms are medium in size (260 square feet) and all feature the Disney movie theme décor. Each features either two double beds or one king-sized bed, a vanity area with sink and a separate bathroom.
There is a theater-inspired food court with five tasty concession outlets, pizza delivery room service and Silver Screen Spirits ¿¿¿, a pool bar serving up sandwiches and snacks. Continental breakfast is served daily by the pool.
The lobby is large and features Disney movies memorabilia throughout.
The resort is located at Walt Disney World, near Disney's Animal Kingdom, but also convenient to all the other Disney Theme Parks. It is a short drive to all the shopping areas and a 25-minute drive from Orlando's airport by car.
